Step 1: Go to Settings section of your Redmi Note 8 smartphone

Step 2: Click on About Phone

Step 3: Then Click on All Specs Option

Step 4: After that click on Kernel Version ( you have to click thrice on this option to reach the main settings menu)

Step 4:Now you will be redirected to the FQC test menu page

Step 5: Scroll down to Main Mic test

Step 6: Plugin in your mic and test it by speaking something. If it passes the test then it is OK.

Step 7: Now visit Sub Mic test option and check it. If it passes then it’s OK else it will show an error.

Step 8: If the problem persist then check if your mobile software is updated or not. Upgrade your MIUI software.
