“This new test was developed to bolster our already significant efforts to reduce spam, manipulation of our platform and bot activity. This will evaluate a potentially powerful measure to help us combat bots and spammers on X, while balancing platform accessibility with the small fee amount,” the company revealed via a new support document on its Help Center page.

To combat this issue Elon Musk also announce that an annual Dollar 1 subscription model will be tested and started so that and spams can be prevented this subscription model is currently available New Zealand Philippines where users are required to sign up and pay an annual fee of $1 to be able to post and interact with other post

so if you are a new user in Philippines, New Zealand and trying to post on X then you must verify your phone number and then sign up with your credentials and pay and annual subscription fee of $1 to continue posting on the platform. The main intention behind this step is to prevent spamming and what activities on the platform.

A lot of users have complained that they face getting bot activities on the platform This program will be known as not a bot program and the fee will be charged annually if it comes in other countries the price may vary according to the country and currency apart from this you also get an option to opt for x premium subscription model.
This premium subscription model will add a verified blue check mark to your account and will offer more authority to your account.

The $1 ‘not a bot’ program is only a read-only program that allows the new users on next to read the post, watch multiple videos, and follow their favourite accounts. They cannot edit the post the post editing feature is available only to experience subscription uses
