Netflix May Start Charging You for Sharing Password with Others

Netflix is one of the most popular entertainment apps. On Netflix, you can stream various movies, web series, and TV shows. You can add more than one user to your Netflix account. With this feature, family members and friends can easily share passwords with each other. But now Netflix may start charging you for sharing your password outside their household.

You can add different Profiles with names so that you can separate the content according to your profile.

Netflix Coming Up With something New

Netflix is working on identifying the location and other details of the user. It is working on Netfllix security so that no unauthorized user access your account. If you wish to share your password you may have to pay some bucks. This feature is currently being worked upon for Chile, Costa Rica, and Peru

Add an Extra Member

Members on Standard and Premium plans will be able to add sub-accounts for up to two people they don’t live with – each with their own profile, personalized recommendations, login, and password – which will cost 2,380 CLP in Chile, 2.99 USD in Costa Rica, and 7.9 PEN in Peru.

Transfer Profile to a New Account

Members who are having Basic, Standard, and Premium plans can enable people who can transfer the profile or add a new sub account.

Netflix also said, “We recognize that people have many entertainment choices, so we want to ensure any new features are flexible and useful for members, whose subscriptions fund all our great TV and films. We’ll be working to understand the utility of these two features for members in these three countries before making changes anywhere else.”
