WhatsApp Sets Limit for Forwarded Messages

Messaging service WhatsApp has decided to put a limit on forwarded messages. According to a report by WABetaInfo, the company is now working on reducing the number of times a forwarded message can be sent.

According to Reports, a WhatsApp message can now be sent to one Whatsapp Group chat at a time. If you try to send it to more groups you will receive an error:  “Forwarded messages can only be sent to one group chat at a time”.

This is being done to reduce the number of Spam on WhatsApp. Many of us develop a habit of sending a forwarded message to everyone without even reading it completely.

Let us see what WhatsApp said officially about this move:

“These messages can only be forwarded to one chat at a time as a way to help keep conversations on WhatsApp intimate and personal. This also helps slow down the spread of rumors, viral messages, and fake news.”

This forwarding message feature is still in Beta mode, and available on for beta users. WhatsApp may roll out this feature for everyone after testing it fully.
